It is aimed at any project leader who acts for the general interest (emerging associations, individuals, members of a collective). It excludes professional associations, which can benefit from the annual call for projects relating to education for sustainable development.
The Department’s support is not only financial. The community can also provide engineering and technical supporta communication aid and facilitate contact with other players in the area.
Department services can support pre-selected projects to move “from idea to project” and ensure their implementation.
The applications are made by sending, by email ([email protected]), of a ” short video presenting the action.
This pitch can be made very simply with personal means such as a smartphone. The video must effectively and powerfully highlight the quality of the action carried out (local and sustainable solutions, the impact on changes in behavior, the innovative nature, etc.).
In 2022, the Department has already selected six projects, ranging fromdevelopment of a schoolyard into a “garden exemplary in order to carry out pedagogical experiments and thus promote learning”, at PeriersHas participatory construction sites for bread ovens or renovation of a bakery in the South of the Channel, via theuse of an electrically assisted cargo bike by childminders of Carentan and Saint-Clair-sur-Elle replacing a personal vehicle for business trips. Financial aid can range from 1,000 to 7,500 euros.
At the end of each quarter, a jury meets to select the projects to support. ” The deadline of the next pitch submissions is set at December 30, 2022 for the fourth trimester exam. The selection of the first winners of 2023 will take place after March 31 for the first quarter.
