MEXICALI.- PRI Deputy Román Cota Muñoz, formally delivered his first Report on Legislative Work and Social Management in writing, to the President of the Political Coordination Board, Deputy María del Rocío Adame, in a ceremony that took place at the Teatro Universitario de Tecate, which was attended by residents of his district, legislators, state and municipal officials, and representatives of the business sector.

In the presence of the representative of the Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila, Secretary General of the Government, Catalino Zavala, and the mayor of Tecate Rubén Darío Benítez, the legislator indicated -supported by an institutional video- that, during the reporting period, he had presented 19 law initiatives and that in terms of management delivered multiple school supports, for free eye exams and glasses; legal and legal assistance services, among other supports.

“Being part of the XXIV Legislature of the Legislative Power of the State of Baja California has been the greatest honor in my entire life, and having the opportunity to represent thousands of Baja Californians in the highest tribune of our Entity, is a responsibility that I greatly appreciate. commitment I acquired since last August 1, 2021 ”.

Sharing the work carried out as a member of this parliament, and as President of the Committee on Border and Migration Affairs, he stressed that these twelve months of work: are the irrefutable proof that making society and government a team is not impossible, that any goal we can achieve if we organize ourselves, and that the worst enemy of our society is dishonesty and the lack of principles and values.

He stressed that people are eager to be heard, to be attended to and to be able to have access to their representatives, as well as to be able to influence decision-making that allows citizens to regain that trust that has been diluted over time.

Román Cota referred to our State as a place that has incalculable potential due to its geographical location, but also because of its natural wealth and, above all, its cultural wealth, which shows us that, on this side of the border, dreams can also be make come true

And about Tecate, he stated the following: “I believe in our Magical Town, in its benefits, in its warm and thriving people, in its mystical and pre-Hispanic origin, but also in its industrial prosperity and its border potential, Tecate is an oasis in the desert, a hidden gem in the heart of Baja California that has a lot to give”.

The Deputy of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, mentioned that in the tours he carries out through the community: “we have found the fundamental reason why we love what we do, and in the permanent dialogue with all the actors of our community, we find the wisdom to take always the decisions that represent the greatest benefit for all”.
