About the 40th anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of Castilla-La Mancha
In August 2022, it will be 40 years since the entry into force of Law 9/1982, of August 10, of the Statute of Autonomy of Castilla-La Mancha. Today, forty years later, Castilla-La Mancha looks forward to a future full of challenges with the strength that our shared past gives us and the goals to be achieved. A consolidated and united society, which four decades later, continues the journey undertaken in 1982 with the satisfaction of having been able to experience the most fruitful period in its history. Forty years that may be nothing in a future several hundred years old, but should be celebrated as they deserve, with the permanent claim of a joyous reality with a long journey: Castilla-La Mancha.
To commemorate it, the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha has prepared more than 300 cultural and leisure activities that will take place in the five provinces of the region in order to take the anniversary to all corners and to all audiences, and that include music concerts, popular races, photographic exhibitions, theater, drone shows or gastronomic days, among others.
