The Minister of National Education and Literacy, Mariatou Koné, said that his services will ensure that each student receives a free school kit. “All the children will benefit from kits… And the distribution will be done on time,” she promised. And to declare: “the free distribution to all public primary school pupils promotes access to teaching tools at a lower cost to all children of school age”.

“This operation, which represents one of the components of the government’s social programme, is also one of the measures to combat the high cost of living,” she added. Thus inviting students to be wise and to take their studies seriously.

Unicef, partner of the Ivorian school system, has, through the voice of its Permanent Resident in Côte d’Ivoire, Marc Vincent, donated 70,000 school kits to the Ivorian government.
