The East Educational Park opened the summer season 22/23 with multiple proposals > Municipality of Córdoba

  • The activities will take place until February 17, 2023 with free admission.

The East Educational Park began the 2022/23 summer season with free admission, and with various recreational activities for the community.

With the initiative of the Municipality of Córdoba and within the framework of the provincial program of “Right to Summer”, in conjunction with the Directorate of Educational Parks of the Ministry of Education, the activities will be carried out until February 17, 2023.

Registration is still open to the entire community and those who wish to participate must go to the East Educational Park (B° Campo la Ribera) and present a photocopy of ID, photocopy of CUS (current), Affidavit and medical examination for pool (valid 15 days) .

In the “Summer in the water” program you can do swimming and aquagym. Next, the days and hours of the schools:

  • AQUA GYM – ADULTS: Monday to Friday from 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • SUMMER SCHOOL (from 7 to 12 years old): Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • BOYS AND GIRLS (5 and 6 years old with adult): Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 to 7 p.m.
  • SWIMMING FOR ADULTS: Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
  • SWIMMING FOR ADOLESCENTS: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Also, the population will be able to participate in Cultural Summer, where there will be artistic shows and cultural workshops: dances, theater, music, socio-educational walks and more.

Another option is Summer in the Open Air, which will have spaces for cooperative games and recreation within the framework of the Open Air Centers that will be carried out together with Scouts from Argentina.

In turn, residents will be able to attend Summer with Learning. The activity includes robotics, programming, 3D printing, and digital literacy. In addition, actions to promote solidarity citizen practices, care for the environment and health will be carried out.

Finally, in Verano con Derechos there will be DNI operations, health promotion and care, registration for different procedures and social programs/policies, among others, which will be communicated through official digital accounts.

The proposal is coordinated by the Undersecretary of Sports and Recreation, the Secretary of Government and General Cabinet Management, the Scouts of Argentina organization and will have the participation of social and neighboring organizations and neighbors who participate in the Educational Parks.

The vice mayor of the city Daniel Passerini celebrated this new beginning of the season and mentioned that this “It will be a season to live the summer in the neighborhoods, where the children spend the hours of the day doing artistic activities, learning, getting to know science, playing sports and enjoying the pool”.

For his part, the Secretary of Government and General Cabinet Management, Miguel Siciliano, remarked that “The summer season means much more than access to the pool for the neighbors. The summer season in the city is union, recreation, sports, artistic and cultural activities. We love to see how Córdoba adds new activities every day, we hope to live a full summer in the city”.

Horacio Ferreyra, Secretary of Education, stated that “This is an opportunity and a different horizon for the neighborhoods of the city, because we all have the right to enjoy the summer, and from the municipality we have made a decision of our mayor Martín Llaryora come true, calling for enjoyment and the opportunity to broaden cultural horizons thanks to an interesting offer of educational activities”.

The director of Educational Parks, Eugenia Rotondi, added that “The joy of the Parque Educativo Este community at starting a new season can be seen in the boys, girls, youth and families who participate and enjoy the activities throughout the year.” He also added that “enjoying the summer is a right of every Cordovan, and from the educational parks we add all the resources and efforts to make that possible.”
