Tomorrow the activities organized within the III Children’s and Youth Book Fair will begin, organized by the Salamanca City Council and the LASAL Association (Salamanca Animation for Reading). An activity that revolves around books and reading, theater, music and conversation. Among the programmed activities are exhibitions, workshops, talks and shows.
This III Children’s and Youth Book Fair focuses especially on the fables starring humanized animals and their updating through new works in which their protagonists remain, but in which the messages and ways of telling the stories vary.
The objective of all the programmed activities is to convert the Hall into a space in which families are summoned together with professionals from the world of books and reading. In this space open to reading in its broadest sense, boys and girls, mothers and fathers, professionals from the world of publishing, bookstores, writing and illustration, libraries, education and other cultural agents coexist in a clear commitment to continue weaving together an increasingly broad and collaborative project to promote reading in the city and province of Salamanca.
