High school courses of CPIA, IIS Penna and IIS Artom presented

On Wednesday 21 September, the High School Pathways of CPIA, IIS Penna and IIS Artom were presented at the Piazza Leonardo da Vinci headquarters of the Asti State Institute of Adult Education (CPIA 1 Asti).

In the presence of the School Managers, the paths were illustrated to the students.
Particularly exciting was the intervention of former CPIA students who summarized the pride and determination of training as adults, witnessing the importance of returning to school: “For us it was certainly a tiring journey, but full of satisfactions. We encourage you to fight for your knowledge and not to go back on the choice of training “

The first year courses will begin on Monday 26 September.
The courses have a duration of three school years, at the end of which the students will take the State Exam and will obtain the secondary school diploma of II degree.
Courses take place from Monday to Friday.
The courses in collaboration with the Artom take place in the evening from 6 pm to 11 pm.
The course of Mechanical Expert takes place in Canelli at the CPIA and in the premises of the “Artom” Institute of Canelli in via Asti 16, for courses that require the use of laboratories.
The IT technician course takes place in Asti, partly in the headquarters in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci and at the “Artom” Institute in Via Romita.

The IT specialization offers students the opportunity to achieve programming skills that can be used in many work fields (from automation, programming, creation, management of software and apps), while the mechanical one offers a specialization in mechanics and mechatronics linked to the productive vocation. of the territory, where the enomechanics sector stands out.
In addition to the general subjects common to all secondary school courses, the mechanical course includes the study of industrial design and design, mechanics and machines, automation systems and mechanical technologies for processes and products, while for instead, central IT will be IT, electronics, automation systems.

As for the collaboration with the Penna, the food and wine tour will take place in the morning while the Agraria path will take place in the evening.
Students can customize their studies according to their attitudes and preferences by forming skills useful for employment purposes and for personal and professional development.

The specific courses introduced related to the diploma in “Food and wine services and hotel hospitality” are:
– Food and wine culture of the area
– International communication for hospitality
– Tourist reception
– Psychology and sociology of communication

The itineraries in collaboration with the Penna satisfy two entrepreneurial and working vocations typical of the Asti area: the tourist accommodation and food and wine and the agricultural and environmental one.
