There Italian school of South Tyrol has been activating the advice desksaddressed to both families that to the school operators. Each dedicated to a different area, these services are offered during the school period and can be accessed by telephone appointment or by e-mail.

Fromschool year 2022/23in addition, the new counter was activated “SOS Support“, Dedicated to school staff. The counter Operational Support Support wants to offer more targeted, specific and effective advice for teachers, support teachers and BES representatives of schools of all levels, from infancy to vocational schools.

The other branches

Families, students And teachers they can turn to the various branches to obtain advice, indications and information useful for managing particular situations that may arise during the growth process. The Pedagogical-didactic desk offers support, advice, mediation and information on the subject of inclusion and is aimed at families and school operators.

The Noise counter of the autism spectrum promotes the culture of collective care of pupils and pupils with ASD. The Behavioral Difficulty / Disorders Desk it is a space for discussion and reflection on educational-didactic methods of intervention, relating to difficulties or behavioral disorders, with a view to well-being and educational and academic success for all.

The Let’s talk about itfinally, it offers psychological counseling and orientation to local services. The service has already existed for several years in the Italian school. Each institution has a psychologist who provides individual and / or group counseling for parents, teachers and pupils.

In addition to being a useful sensor for the detection of the internal needs of the school with a view to prevention of discomfort and promotion of well-being, the service also acts as a filter to the social and health services of the territory for the possible taking charge of problematic situations. In the last two years, requests for interviews at this desk have almost doubled: while 1744 interviews were held during the 2020/21 school year, the 2021/22 school year this consultancy service recorded 3303. It was mostly used by teachers, parents and middle school students (44%), directly followed by those in high school (40.5%).
