What is the International Baccalaureate?
It is an international high-quality pre-university educational program, it focuses on the resolution of complex problems by students, the purpose is for the student to develop their critical thinking to gain access to prestigious universities around the world.
These are the four training plans that it has:
- Elementary School Program (ages 3-12)
- Middle Years Program (ages 11-16)
- Professional Guidance Program (ages 16-19)

International Baccalaureate: courses
The IB offers six courses in different areas within its curriculum:
- Studies in Language and Literature: focus on the student’s native language, the student can choose from more than 80 available options.
- Language Acquisition: you have to choose an additional language, even between Latin and classical Greek.
- Individuals and Societies: you can take a course in social sciences or humanities, including: Business, Economics, Geography, History, Information Technology, Philosophy, Psychology, and Anthropology.
- Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Design Technology and Computer Science.
- Math: There are four math courses that cover a wide range of needs, interests, and abilities.
- Arts: students are offered options in dance, foreign language, music, drama, visual arts, and film.
